What music has been your Summer Soundtrack?
Rather than listing an incredibly long number of songs, I decided to include only four. Prepare to be bombarded by my eclectic taste!
Dance and Kpop Mix courtesy DJ Dave on Youtube
Swing - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Shiny new Kpop with rock flavors - JJ Project
Club Trance with Deadmau5
What's your Summer Soundtrack?

I daresay my daughter knows of JJ-Project since she listens to a lot of K-Pop and J-Pop. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, love the video for Ghosts N Stuff. And is it bad that I didn't even know K-Pop existed until now?
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in a while, good stuff!
ReplyDeleteI found myself oddly entranced by JJ-Project, but it's so hard for me to love foreign language music because I love to sing along. There is a Russian punk band I like, and I have to just approximate the sounds. I have no clue what they're singing, lol.
Someone MUST tell me what K-Pop is. Love Big Bad Voodoo Daddy!
ReplyDeleteOh! I love that LMFAO song. There music is so catchy
ReplyDeleteLAMFO is a good one. I love that song. Great list thanks for posting! :D
ReplyDeleteYAY K-POP and GD & TOP! hehehe
ReplyDeleteRobin, I'm just glad you know now! *begins chanting 'one of us'*
ReplyDeleteCrystal, LOVE bands like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. I like to sing along with songs too - which is what made me want to learn Korean. Found out Korean is a hard language to learn! (might have to just settle for Spanish first)
Rebekah, K-Pop is Korean Pop music.
Samantha, I just now got into LMFAO, but you're right.
Glad you all like the list! I can't wait to browse everyone else's!
K-POP! LOOOOOOOOVE SO MUUUCH! Super Junior's Mr Simple and Visual Dreams by Girls' Generation are my favourites ^_^
ReplyDeleteThat Deadmau5 song inspired an entire project for me. I LOVE it!
...Now excuse me while I expand my K-Pop and J-Pop collection :P
Definitely very upbeat! I don't think I could write listening to this playlist, but it would definitely get me pumped before sitting down.
ReplyDeleteMy summer playlist has been very relaxed, with one favorite song whose lyrics were penned by a YA author :)
I used to LOVE Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. I haven't listened to them in forever but I remember when I was crazy for Swing. Cherry Poppin' Daddy's were a fave too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I even knew there was such a thing as K-Pop. I think I live under a rock. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your choices!

This is definitely the kind of music I love to write to at my day job! Keeps me awake and bopping in my seat :)
